Part 5
“You bastard, how could you do this to me? I can’t believe you slept with my sister,” Donna screams at me while she continues to chase me down the street. Jennifer, her sister, is still roaring with laughter as she runs in step with Donna.
Donna keeps up the obscenities although they no longer form coherent sentences. I have never seen her like this.
Eventually Donna quits screaming. I furtively glance behind me not wanting to slow down my pace.
Donna has quit running and is staring at Jennifer in comprehension. Tears begin to run down her face.
I cautiously stop running and watch. Without warning Donna raises her hand with the knife and brings it down and lodges the blade firmly in Jennifer’s chest. Jennifer goes down. She feebly clutches at the knife and tries to pull it out. Blood is soaking her shirt and begins to seep into the grass where she has fallen.
“Donna, please, it was his idea. I am so sorry.”
“It is bad enough my husband is a lying, bastard, cheater, but with my own sister, how could you? How could you?”
Donna doesn’t’ wait for an answer. She grabs the knife out of Jennifer’s chest and looks in my direction. “How could you have such a cold heart as to sleep with my sister? My sister of all people. I am going to kill you too!” Oh shit!

That’s one pissed-off woman. Good job yourself! Looks like you got in to this week’s Trifecta even closer “to the wire” than I did.

Whoa! I guess that’s what Jennifer gets for laughing, but if it were me, I think I wouldn’t have joined the run in the first place.

Jennifer was lulled in by her sister’s lack of response to her being the “other woman.” She got what she deserved, now just have to see if her cheating husband, gets his just desserts. Thank you for stopping by and reading.

Great description of the rage. I think the husband is done for. I just don’t think he can run fast or far enoungh to escape Donna’s wrath.

Thank you! She has lost touch with reality, totally betrayed by the 2 people who profess to love her the most.

One down, one to go. (That’s not very sensitive of me, now is it?) 😆
