Complications – Part 6

Part 6

The commotion on the street is bringing people out onto their porches. “Someone please call 911!” I plead.

I take off running again. Donna, her face twisted in rage, is brandishing the bloody knife in my direction as she takes off behind me.

In the distance I hear sirens and relief floods through me. Please let them be coming here!

I glance back and notice she isn’t far behind me now. I have to keep her running long enough for the police to get here.

I never see the foot that trips me and sends me head over heels.

About Tessa

My name is Tessa Dean and I am an author and blogger. My writing styles vary and I love writing using prompts. I am also writing my first book, a Memoir entitled "Government Property - A Memoir of a Military Wife".  This is being published on the blog rather than the traditional way. I am putting up chapters as I go along. I keep my blog filled with useful content, stories, and poems. Plenty to keep you busy. I have also been interviewed by blogs and had other posts published on many different blogs. I also wrote a series of articles on Bipolar Disorder for IBPF (International Bipolar Foundation). I am in my 60’s and disabled which allows me plenty of time to write to my heart’s content. I live in southern New Jersey and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps.

Well, that wasn’t nice to leave me hanging like that…I even scrolled down to make sure I didn’t miss anything 🙂 Someone’s either going to help him, or hand him over to the knife…looking forward to seeing which it is.

Uh, well, uh, I don’t know yet! 🙂 I am in suspense myself. Oh yeah, that’s right, I am the creator and therefore I need to break the suspense. LOL! I need some sleep. Thank you for stopping by.
