BFFs – prompt by the Daily Post

This is not me or my BFF

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned from the person you’re the closest to?

My BFF and I recently met in the last 6 – 7 years. We clicked instantly and I think part of that is her attitude. We are the complete opposites in attitude. I get rattled by every little thing and heaven forbid the big stuff.

My friend takes every thing in stride. She does what has to be done and doesn’t spend all her time going, “oh me, oh my,” unlike me. I still am trying to fully trust God to do what he feels is right for me. That he has a plan.

My BFF is a breast cancer survivor. I would have been a crazed woman, upset and hysterical. I was practically hysterical over the cyst they just found. She took it in stride. She listened to her doctor and she did what was required.

I admire that woman. Best Friends Forever!

About Tessa

My name is Tessa Dean and I am an author and blogger. My writing styles vary and I love writing using prompts. I am also writing my first book, a Memoir entitled "Government Property - A Memoir of a Military Wife".  This is being published on the blog rather than the traditional way. I am putting up chapters as I go along. I keep my blog filled with useful content, stories, and poems. Plenty to keep you busy. I have also been interviewed by blogs and had other posts published on many different blogs. I also wrote a series of articles on Bipolar Disorder for IBPF (International Bipolar Foundation). I am in my 60’s and disabled which allows me plenty of time to write to my heart’s content. I live in southern New Jersey and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps.
