Immortalized in Stone

Immortalized in Stone

Your personal sculptor is carving a person, thing or event from the last year of your life. What’s the statue of and what makes it so significant?

The statue would be of my best friend. We have only known each other for about 7, maybe 8 years now, but she knows about my medical issues, my mental illness, my suicide attempt (came to visit me), my transgressions and yet she doesn’t judge me. Best friend anyone could ask for.

Tessa, I’m sorry you’ve had such difficulties but I’m kind of jealous and happy for you, all at the same time, that you have such a friend. What a blessing!

    • Tessa says:

Thank you Shelby. It has been hard, but she is a great friend. Not the kind you have in high school, but a real grownup friend. If you see the difference. We are perfect together now.
