Pants on Fire – prompt by the Daily Post

Pants on Fire

What was the last lie you told? Why did you tell it?

I am not normally a liar. I have told a few white lies in my time, but as for whoppers, usually not me. I can’t help myself. If I tell a lie I immediately confess so those don’t count. When I was a young adult a long time ago I did tell a few whoppers, but I can’t confess those because someone would get hurt or two someones actually.

I would say the last lie I told was to my daughter because I didn’t want to go to the grandson’s soccer game so I told her I was sick. Nothing major. The truth was I was in bed and not getting out.
