Writing 101- Day 2 – Write a list

Todays assignment is to write a list. I will list 50 things I like:

  1. Number 1 has to be my 3 children (even though the real word here is love)
  2. And 2 has to be my 4 grandchildren ranging in age from 6 to 17
  3. Number 3 would be my dad (and my mom in heaven for the past 2 years)
  4. The pets, my cat Sara, and my dad’s dog, Dash
  5. Writing – it would be number one if I had no family, but family comes first
  6. Reading – although it takes a back burner to writing
  7. Almost forgot to put God down (after 40 years of disbelief, I have come around to following God and studying as I have lost my memories of what I learned during my childhood) – God should be number 1
  8. My 2 blogs – http://www.tessacandoit.com (journalized along with my articles I write) and http://www.finallyawriter.com (stories and poems mainly)
  9. Researching for the articles I write for other blogs and even mine
  10. My blogging friends in the Word Press community (the family), I do follow other blogs as well, but we at WordPress have formed a community
  11. I almost forgot my BFF…my best friend for at least 8 or so years…lost track of time

About Tessa

My name is Tessa Dean and I am an author and blogger. My writing styles vary and I love writing using prompts. I am also writing my first book, a Memoir entitled "Government Property - A Memoir of a Military Wife".  This is being published on the blog rather than the traditional way. I am putting up chapters as I go along. I keep my blog filled with useful content, stories, and poems. Plenty to keep you busy. I have also been interviewed by blogs and had other posts published on many different blogs. I also wrote a series of articles on Bipolar Disorder for IBPF (International Bipolar Foundation). I am in my 60’s and disabled which allows me plenty of time to write to my heart’s content. I live in southern New Jersey and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps.

Thank you. I did a 100 point list one time. I really had to dig for info. I am sure I could dig it out again. You just have to relax and think about your life.

  3. I love the “going for relaxing drives” one! I agree, they’re so calming and relaxing…especially when we’re not driving 😉 I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts Tessa! My best to you!
