#Writer’s Quote Wednesday & #BeWoW – Dalai Lama

dalai lama quote

The message I have gotten from my scripture reading is that we are to help others. It makes sense. Help each other and halve your troubles. The most important thing to me is that if you can’t help them, then by all means make sure you don’t hurt them. There is no excuse for hurting another human being or an animal for that matter. It really bothers me to see people or animals tortured in some way.

  1. Well said Tessa, je suis Parissiene, not just the bible which has that comment, I’m pretty sure every religious text says the same thing.

  2. Tessa, what a beautiful and touching post. I so agree with you. Kindness should be the norm, not the exception. If that were true all religions would be united in preserving and showing kindness toward one another. ❤
