Writing 101, Day 18: Compose a series of anecdotes

The Smeigh Family Vignette:

15 years old A and I meet at a skating rink. He asked the little brother of one of his friends to ask me to skate.

We skated, he worked there. we became a couple. I started working there.

We broke up, had separate boyfriends and girlfriends. The 2 of them got together.

We got back together. He forced me by guilt into having sex. I got pregnant although I didn’t know it them. I was a naïve 17 yr old. I miscarried.

We eventually married, after he went into the Marine Corp. I moved down to NC and we found a place to live during training.

I got pregnant for real this time and gave birth.

I got pregnant again with 2 daughter.

3rd time was the boy. He is 10 years younger than his older sister and born in NJ not NC.

Married 23 years and divorced for 16.

4 grandchildren. Both daughters have 2 children each.

About Tessa

My name is Tessa Dean and I am an author and blogger. My writing styles vary and I love writing using prompts. I am also writing my first book, a Memoir entitled "Government Property - A Memoir of a Military Wife".  This is being published on the blog rather than the traditional way. I am putting up chapters as I go along. I keep my blog filled with useful content, stories, and poems. Plenty to keep you busy. I have also been interviewed by blogs and had other posts published on many different blogs. I also wrote a series of articles on Bipolar Disorder for IBPF (International Bipolar Foundation). I am in my 60’s and disabled which allows me plenty of time to write to my heart’s content. I live in southern New Jersey and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps.
