Just Jot it January – January 01, 2016 – Medication

Just Jot It Januarymedication-593004_1280Bipolar Medication

I find myself in the predicament of having to be my own medication monitor for several weeks. I was severely manic and couldn’t get a hold of my own med monitor (she was on vacation and out of internet area which she didn’t expect) and the Psychiatric ER didn’t seem to care since I threatened to throw the cat out the window, but not hurt myself. They sent me home with no support So I am till January 5 at least, my own monitor. I decided what meds to use in what combination. I am no longer severely manic. So far, so good.

  2. This says awhole lot about the healthcare system . But, more importantly, it says awhole lot about you. You got this.

It’s terrible that they don’t have anyone to fill in for vacations! Perhaps you could write private blog posts for yourself to keep track of what you’re taking and when. Be well, Tessa!

She thought she was covered she had email and text, but the internet didn’t cooperate. I am sure she will have a bunch of disgruntled patients when she gets back and some at the hospital like I tried. They were no help. I could get help if I said I was trying to commit suicide, but that wasn’t the case. I only consider suicide when I am in depression and I was in out of control mania. I wanted to throw my cat out the window, but that they didn’t care about. Now I am glad I am not in the hospital. I fixed it myself using my prescribed medicines. Thank you for caring.

  4. Hang tough, Tess. Only two more days, but it’s a shame you’ve had to manage the situation by yourself. It’s impressive!
