Oral Roberts Quote. Oral Roberts has a university in Tulsa Oklahoma and for some reason I got it into my head that I wanted to go there. I was just in high school. I hated going to church and this was a religious college and taught other things, not just ministry, but I was being called, but I refused the calling and I refused God for forty years. I wandered in my own desert. I am back to God and he is calling me again. I have been searching the info on the university again. It will take a miracle to get me through that university. No money, I already have student loans that are forgiven. If I go for student aid they are re-instated. However as he says “Expect a Miracle.” God is in charge of my life and I trust him to lead me where I need to be.

About Tessa

My name is Tessa Dean and I am an author and blogger. My writing styles vary and I love writing using prompts. I am also writing my first book, a Memoir entitled "Government Property - A Memoir of a Military Wife".  This is being published on the blog rather than the traditional way. I am putting up chapters as I go along. I keep my blog filled with useful content, stories, and poems. Plenty to keep you busy. I have also been interviewed by blogs and had other posts published on many different blogs. I also wrote a series of articles on Bipolar Disorder for IBPF (International Bipolar Foundation). I am in my 60’s and disabled which allows me plenty of time to write to my heart’s content. I live in southern New Jersey and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps.

    Tessa,
You will get to study the subject of your choice. I am 46 and aspiring to study at an Ivy League college in the US. I am not entitled to student aid or Scholarships, not being an US citizen- so if I manage to pay my fees, it will have to be from the money I saved up- my current salary is to the tune of $ 5000 and the yearly fees for a course of my choice is over $ 75000- which is way more than I can afford. I am expecting a miracle too. 2 years back I qualified to a course of my choice in Johns Hopkins University in Maryland but couldn’t go because I had no money put by- so that chance went away but my dreams didn’t – in fact, they are stronger than ever.
I believe that if there are dreams in our heart, then God has put them there- so the means to achieve those dreams will come by and by( as the hymn says- in the sweet by and by). 🙂
I know you will do it- just keep dreaming.
    Susie
