Just Jot It January 22nd – The Storm Has Started

snowball-fight-578445_1920 (2)Well as promised the storm started early Friday evening. No wind yet. Just snow everywhere and it is laying thicker and thicker. If this lasts to Sunday it will be pretty deep. We had to get our cars off the road so we are on the driveway and lawn. The kids on 4-wheelers are roaring up and down the street. Annoying at the very least.

I’ll be staying home tomorrow but dh will probably try to shovel the snow. I wish he wouldn’t. He’s not recovered from his fall, yet. I’m off to bed, feeling soooo sleepy. I’ll miss brunch but making my own meals is not hard. Good luck, stay warm, and we’ll get together next week. Forecast is now about 18 inches, possibly 24. Does not look like it will miss us. Snow is coming down, blowing around. Good to be inside!

Getting thick here and it is supposed to go to Sunday. Luckily we have a 28 year old young man, but my 84 year old dad will be out there too. He likes to do it himself and early. My sister and husband come over too late for him with the blower.

I see by your above comment you have help. That’s great! 🙂 Hang in there, Tessa!

  3. If the past is anything to go by, we should get it this side of the pond next week, just hope it decides not to stay too long 😀 not that I hate snow but I don’t enjoy it as much as I used to, take care and don’t let your dad go out until help arrives.
