#WeekendCoffeeShare: In Which Everything is White

weekendcoffeesharewinter-1127201_1920 (2)White is everywhere. The last I was out it was over a foot here in NJ. Sorry we have to cancel the coffee meeting.

If you could be here I would serve you something hot and tell you all about how I hate snow for the most part. I don’t mind missing the 2 kids birthday parties although I am sure they are being kids and all. But I do miss my brunch with my friend. We don’t miss many Saturdays.

My Fibromyalgia is acting up pretty bad. 8 out of 10 I would say today. I stayed in bed. Couldn’t go anywhere and didn’t feel like it anyhow. The cat kept jumping on me which really hurt. Fibro is nothing to mess around with.

My son and I went out in this mess to get food. Not much open. Got our food as the second storm started.

I started another article last night for the blog I write for and finished editing it today and sent it. Now I have several blog prompts to write-up including my serialized story that has 9 pieces already. Today’s will be 10. I have todays devotional to write-up before today runs out. And a few smaller pieces.

Well I wish I had a window up here in my garret so I could see what is going on outside. Back to my work. See you all next week.

Sorry to hear that there are two storms. Not a comfortable time to be feeling unwell, although I think that weather conditions affect me also. Glad you were able to get out and about for a while!

    Prayers and best wishes,

Yes! See you next Saturday! You know it’s a highlight of the week for me. I didn’t go outside today. Dh shoveled half the front steps and cleaned the cars. Our neighbor brought his snowblower over and cleared our sidewalk. His son came over and cleared the rest of the front steps. Dh was exhausted and I worried about him trying to clear all that snow when he isn’t recovered from his fall two weeks ago. It’s still snowing. Tomorrow, dh will be out there again. I did manage to get him to wear gloves. He was heading out without them and I asked if he had his gloves. He said he didn’t need gloves. Yeah, right. I gave him his gloves and he put them on. He had said he didn’t need them because he had no idea where they were. Fortunately, I knew where he’d put them. The snow should be all gone by next Saturday. I am looking forward to getting together then. Oh, I remember now. I needed to change the battery in my mouse but the batteries were not where I put them. I suspect dh put them “someplace” and forgot where. To use my computer mouse I stole a battery from a tv remote we seldom use. Certainly wasn’t going to suggest he go out to buy some! Where did you find a place open to buy food?

  3. Sorry about your Fibromyalgia bothering you again. I know how a cat jumping on you hurts. Kato lays on my legs and cuts off the circulation and it hurts. I haven’t got the heart to move him. Stay warm and dry.
