Velvet Verbosity – Peculiar

I have been called peculiar,
Because I have chosen to follow
In God’s footsteps of my own choice.
I have wandered in the desert
Of 40 years, due to my choice
To give up God for 40 years.
During this time God watched over me,
While also punishing me for my choice
Of morality and other sins.
I have asked for forgiveness for adultery
And coveting thy neighbors spouse for
18 years without much care to pain inflicted.
Jesus died for my sins and his.
He died for us so that we may live
Our lives without suffering such pain.

Tara R – my full name is Teresa Smeigh and I go by Tessa on here most of the time, but I am branching out to Teresa Smeigh. I write for IBPF.org, which is International Bipolar Foundation and I have 6 articles published there. It is a volunteer position, but my articles are published. I have become religious and follow God’s rules and in his footsteps.

About Tessa
My name is Tessa Dean and I am an author and blogger. My writing styles vary and I love writing using prompts.
I am also writing my first book, a Memoir entitled "Government Property - A Memoir of a Military Wife". This is being published on the blog rather than the traditional way. I am putting up chapters as I go along. I keep my blog filled with useful content, stories, and poems. Plenty to keep you busy. I have also been interviewed by blogs and had other posts published on many different blogs. I also wrote a series of articles on Bipolar Disorder for IBPF (International Bipolar Foundation).
I am in my 60’s and disabled which allows me plenty of time to write to my heart’s content.
I live in southern New Jersey and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps.
