Studio 30 Plus – prompts unrequited/spurned

studio30 plus_noncropped_longcross-66700_1920 (2)Spurned Jesus’ Love

by Teresa Smeigh February 2016

I spurned the love,

For forty years.

They stayed with me

Through the tears.

I came back to Him

Wanting forgiveness.

He forgave me I’m told,

No need to confess.

Jesus died on the cross

For my sins.

Now it’s my turn

To play the violins.

I follow his guidance

Day by day.

It doesn’t matter what I want,

Things are done his way.

I’m proud to say that he is mine

To love, to follow,

Till the end of time!
