“Judy and John – A Lie is Told”

By Teresa Smeigh March 2016

It was the American signal, everything was under control and they could all go outside. Cheering they walked out the door and into Paulie’s non-smiling face with a gun pointed at them with a “let’s get down to business” look on his face and Boaz’s soldiers behind him. John put Judy and Michael behind him.

What’s going on came from several sectors. Boaz joined the party late and looked startled. “Paulie, what are you doing?”

Why Boaz I am taking over this party. I just got back with the DNA testing. There are interesting results on there. The baby is neither of our babies. Father totally unrelated to either of us. And even funnier the baby is not Judy’s either. No relationship at all.”

Paulie threw the paper on the ground and when John reached for the baby Paulie shot Judy in the back. She went down, but Cindy caught the child and snuggled it. Joan dropped to her knee and rubbed Judy’s back with ketchup to make it look like blood. In case anyone checked.

Paulie said, “ Old woman how did you get the wrong baby?”

Joan whined, “I got the baby Judy held in her hands and was trying to feed. How was I to know it wasn’t hers?”

I wanted that baby. I was sure it was Judy’s and Paulie’s,” Boaz moaned. “I can’t believe this mess up!”

Wait a minute Boaz,” Paulie said. If this baby is not Judy’s then the real Michael is hidden in a safe house.”

True, but certainly not helpful at this point. We don’t have the leverage against that fake general and his demands. He wanted the baby of the American Lieutenant.”

Paulie thought for a bit. “Unless he is smarter than he looks, which is doubtful, he is really dumb as a nail, he won’t know the difference in the baby, and we sneak this one in and alter the DNA slip. Make it the Lieutenant’s baby. Get Jackman working on it immediately.”

Boaz whined, “Explain the double cross.”

Joan told him that she carried one of those realistic dolls they make for school that needs to eat and pee, etc. She had fake bottles and they sneaked “Michael” out and used the fake doll as soon as the DNA test was on the way.

The pilot was faking his injury and drunkenness. He snuck the real baby out to the American Soldiers which he contacted from the broken plane. It can’t fly, but it can communicate. He made a woodpecker sound and the American team came in and took over the situation. Judy got up and hugged her brothers.

She had been waiting for them to rescue them. They gathered everyone including Paulie.

Warrior was ready to growl and tear apart anyone not quick enough to drop their weapons as ordered. They didn’t hesitate.

John and Judy had a long kiss now that this part of the adventure was over. Ewww Cindy teased.

Paulie laughed hysterically he had contacted the fake Aussie General he thought. The radio had been replaced as soon as John arrived and began setting things up. Once the radio had been explained, he dropped his gun and began to cry hysterically instead.

The Americans began setting up for another attack, the fake Aussies. Paulie was picked to lead the way.

Warrior and Gina were along and the dog was assigned to watch Paulies’ every move and if he tried to escape or lead them astray he was dead.

They started on their way and Paulie led the way through the woods. Paulie got more nervous as they got closer to the camp. There was absolute silence as they marched closer. Paulie started to get closer. He walked the last of the path and into their camp to come upon the fake general face to face to another German Shepherd and another Gina, her twin Lina.

Paulie had enough and surrendered right then and there and the so did the general and the rest of his men.

They were marched to the real Aussie General and officially surrendered. They were marched off to the plane that would take them to the brig. Gunfire broke out again. A soldier ran up and said they had a rogue soldier and he shot Judy for real having taken off her bullet-proof vest thinking it was over.

John got back to find the medic working on her and Cindy, Joan and David crying over her. He pushed his way in and took stock. He told the Aussie medic to get her to the nearest hospital immediately.

Good bones here. By that I mean you have a good story. A little fast in the explanation area but this is the first go through. If you turn this into something publish worthy, like edited and stuff like that, the pace and all would be taken care of. 🙂

Thanks Ronovan. I am thinking on eventually maybe trying to turn it into something publish worthy. Needs research too. I have never been to Australia for one thing and now I understand what you mean by slowing down the pace. Some things might change too as I wanted to go elsewhere and the prompts took it a different place. But I think it has bones too. Thanks a lot.
