#WeekendCoffeeShare: Graduation

#WeekendCoffeeShare: Graduation

Here it is Sunday already! Saturday I had a milkshake to drink, but I wasn’t home to offer them to my friends. You could have joined me at Friendly’s Ice Cream Restaurant. I have brunch there every Saturday morning.

This has been a rough week for me. Less than 2 hours from the start of graduation for my  oldest grandson, I get an invitation. Very moving and his Marine Corps recruiter was there for the ceremony as well. However, it was rough on me physically.

I hadn’t recovered from that (up and down the bleachers) when the same daughter needed a babysitter for her 9 year old son. Up and down the stairs to answer the door to his friends and he wasn’t going out while I was there. I finally stopped answering it. Another physical over-do. I came home, ate and went to bed around 6 PM and slept til 11 PM. Needless to say I have been up all night now.

Friday night I spent quite a bit of time talking to the nurse helpline through my insurance about my diabetes. Learned or re-learned quite a bit.

Now to see if my doctor finally does something as my numbers are way too high.

Wishing you all a good week ahead.

  1. Congratulations to you grandson on his graduation. I am in the process of finding a new PCP. Good luck with your diabetes. Have a better week. Hugs!
