‘Awkward’ is your prompt. You can write about feeling awkward like me right now or the awkward silences we often find ourselves in, like staring at a blank page only sometimes that blank page is a person’s face, or even trying to fill the awkward silence — just make it awkward. Do your best to out-awkward me.
You’re reading this either because you are a follower of my blog or you’re a follower of Linda G Hill’s “Stream of Consciousness Saturday.” It doesn’t matter which, the point is you are following it. You might even want to write your own post on this prompt which comes out as a reminder every Friday.
If ever my prompts inspire you to look for or use a piece of art, for instance, to write a post about, go right ahead!
I am very awkward when I dance. I have no rhythm. I flail around, embarrassed. I like to dance when no one is watching though. I will put on music and dance around the house.
I also find it awkward to explain to someone why I am staring at them (I am not, I am lost in space somewhere).
