Weekly Smile Week 64 – fixed my phone myself

As some of you know I just had to buy a new cell phone because my old one had no storage no matter what I deleted and that included all pictures and videos.

Well the new phone started to do the same thing and was almost out of storage. Again I deleted everything and then noticed that my camera and photos were a hug amount. I panicked and got angry and then I started to think. I worked hours with 2 apple techs and several Verizon customer service reps before I then bought the new phone because my old shut down.

Well I figured it out. When you delete a picture or video on an iPhone, anyhow, it goes to another storage place in case you want to recover it. It still uses storage so I fixed the old phone and did the same thing on my new phone and now I know to delete both places.

So I smiled!

What a pain. With Android, when you delete them, they’re gone. Good job figuring it out!

I can understand Verizon not knowing since they sell, not fix iPhones, but Apple should know and there were 2 different techs I talked to. Thank you, hugs!
