Nerd in the Brain – week end coffee share – graduation party with escort from VFW and Police

Pull up a chair and select a beverage. I don’t drink coffee so plenty to choose from.

It we were having coffee I would tell you the great party my daughter put on for her son the new Marine. He was surprised. He was escorted by the local police and motorcycles and they (think they were from the VFW) gave him a short speech and welcome to his country’s service and something in a folder.

If we were having coffee I would tell you how the party had lots of food, mostly carbs, but I ate some and ate only one plate rather than 2 or 3. My sugars weren’t too bad. I am getting better at this and they are back to 90 this morning. The cake was his dress blues jacket beautifully made by my daughter’s friend. I did have a slice, delicious too.
