Nancy and Claire were riding down the roadway with the radio blasting and the convertible top open.

Nancy pushed the accelerator down. She wanted to see how fast she could get the car flying.

Suddenly they spotted a large rig on the side of the road and what looked like three figures struggling next to it.

Nancy started slowing down and pulled off the road onto the shoulder behind the rig. The figures all looked up. The female kicked at the two men who were staring at the intruders.

“Nancy don’t stop, they look dangerous.”

“We can’t leave her here with them.”

She reached in the glove box and pulled out her service revolver. She stepped out of the car.

“Claire stay here!”

She headed over to the group and told the men to step back and let the girl go. They just laughed and started towards Nancy. She shot them both in the legs and they went down.

They were both stunned. This girl could shoot.

“Claire call Dad and tell him what we have here.”

“My Dad is the chief of police and will be here momentarily to pick you two up.”

  2. Great story but what did the two men do that made her shoot them? I think I missed something.

She was already mad at them, then ——–She headed over to the group and told the men to step back and let the girl go. They just laughed and started towards Nancy. She shot them both in the legs and they went down.———That was the reason. They were coming after her now. Stupid men. Just because she was a girl didn’t mean she couldn’t shoot them, besides she was a cop hence the service revolver in the glove box.

      Thanks for reading.!

It sounds like “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” ….apparently she has some of her father’s genes! It wouldn’t hurt to keep her around! Nice quick action story.
